Following the success of the luxurious Boutique Camping at WOMAD 2011, held in Charlton Park, Malmesbury, Wiltshire, we are again offering an added luxury to those who love festival life, who want comfort and exclusivity, while soaking up the atmosphere of WOMAD 2012, we endeavour to ensure the ultimate in service to make it as relaxing as possible for all our guests.
If you are new at discovering the ultimate of Festival Camping then this is probably the most relaxing, easiest and luxurious way of being at the WOMAD festival.
Charlton Park Boutique Camping is located approximately 300m from the main production area in a beautiful walled garden, in the grounds of the Grade I Listed Mansion House. So getting around couldn’t be made easier. There is a private adjacent parking area for your vehicles, or if you decide to come by alternative transport we can make arrangements for one of our team members to collect and return you to your designated place, there will be an extra charge for this service (price upon application).
The number of tents offered within this exclusive area will be 15 luxurious shikar tents, so this is to enable us to provide the quality of service and exclusivity once again this year.
Womad 2012 Camping at Charlton Park near Malmesbury, Wiltshire
Each tent can accommodate two adults (and or two children). The cost includes VIP Backstage festival tickets and also gives you exclusive access to the VIP backstage bar.
Once within the site and our complimentary arrival and departure luggage service has placed guests bags in the tent accommodation the comfort starts. Guests will stay in one of the luxurious Shikar Tent designed and manufactured by the Maharaja of Jodhpur. Each tent features a double bedroom, this room can accommodate a double bed or two single beds and a second room used as a dressing/wash room, dressed out in Indian furniture, the cosy sheets and duvets are covering a comfortable mattress, fluffy white towels. The exclusive Boutique Camping Toilet and shower blocks are with easy access to all the tents and they are sheer luxury, no more queues.
Complimentary morning papers are delivered to your tents.
A delicious gourmet breakfast is served in the exclusive dining area and served between 8.30am to 10am. We do try and source all produce from local suppliers where possible. Complimentary hot and cold drinks are available within the dining area 24 hours a day.
Guests can also request any special dietary requirements.

WOMAD 2012 Boutique Camping Costs
The dates for WOMAD Charlton Park 2011 are Thursday 26th, Friday 27th, Saturday 28th, Sunday 29th of July 2012. Guests of Boutique Camping @ Charlton Park can arrive anytime after Midday on Thursday 26th.
The price of the use of one luxury Shikar Tent in the exclusive Boutique Camping area at WOMAD 2012 is:
- £2298.00 including VAT per tent to be occupied by 2 adults
- £2498.00 including VAT for a family of up to 4 (2 adults and 2 children. This price includes children under the age of 13. Any children aged between 14-17 will be charged for the Teenager weekend ticket at an additional charge of £70 each).
WOMAD SPA is available this year at an additional cost of £110.00 per adult for the weekend (Admission to Spa from 2pm on Thursday 26th July - 11am Monday 30th July 2012 and access to Backstage Bar).
No children under the age of 13 allowed to access the WOMAD SPA area).
WOMAD Spa
If required and at an additional cost, Boutique campers have a choice of a weekend pass £110 per adult (Admission to Spa from 2pm on Thursday 26th July - 11am Monday 30th July 2012 and access to Backstage Bar).
This exclusive area features:
- 4 therapy rooms including a double room in the garden
- 2 jacuzzis
- A yurt sauna
- A hair and makeup area giving you use of hairdryers, luxury showers and loos, coffee and juice bar and relaxing chill out area.
